CDK Global is a leading retail automative technology company where I spent 15 weeks on a few different projects. I got to work with experienced back-end architects on the Hassell Free team in Hoffman Estates, front-end engineers in California, and business analysts based in Florida. I was wearing several different hats throughout the internship - working with Salesforce's SFDX CLI, full stack development, and help out with some of the project management.

Sorc'd is a startup based out of Chicago that makes collecting and creating relevant content easy. Through their collaborative web application and content clipper, users can easily save snippets of research from articles and store them in an easy-to-access environment. During my work with Sorc'd, I've had the opportunity to explore mobile apps using React Native, web development, and new features for the product.

The People's Music School is the only tuition free music school in the entire nation. Part of my work there included data analysis and Excel modelling with a Northwestern graduate student to construct a sales operations strategy to increase the amount of donors and donations. With the associate board, I work with young Chicago professionals to plan fundraisers, mentor students, and advocate for the school.

I had the opportunity to serve as one of Northwestern's Google Cloud Platform Student Innovators. Through the program, I was able to explore the different cloud products offered my Google. They also flew us out to Mountain View to visit their campus and participate in professional development workshops.

Arch is the entrepreneurial arm of the Institute for Student Business Education at Northwestern University. My job was to advise students on how to utilize different technology to approach their ideas and help them bring those ideas to life. I worked with different tech companies in Chicago, Evanston, and The Garage at Northwestern to bring students different experiences with tech in a startup atmosphere. I also gave workshops on coding, SEO, market research, and other core concepts related to entrepreneurship and bootstrapping a company.

I was able to travel to the Philippines by winning the Gawad Kalinga USA - Seafood City's Search for Young Filipino American Achievers Scholarship. The program consisted of a curriculum based learning experience at Ateneo de Manila University on Creating Shared Value. We worked with a rural coffee farm to analyze their value chain and develop a market analysis matrix. To produce our output, we conducted field research, analyzed revenue streams for current and developing products, and studied mandated standards and logistics related to the Philippines' coffee industry.

The Institute for Student Business Education (ISBE) is the largest business student organization at Northwestern. I help make sure our members receive the best experiential and "real world" business experience. This comes from interacting with our corporate sponsors, managing our budget, and executing recruitment campaigns to build avaluable network.
